Taiwan says no discussions with U.S. over spying case

Spokesman for Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense Maj. Gen. Luo Shou-he told reporters today that the United States has not contact his government over the case of a Taiwan-born U.S. Navy officer accused of espionage.

Luo added that there is no evidence that Lt. Cmdr. Edward Lin had visited the defense ministry during his visits to Taiwan.
