Supported by two RNLAF KDC-10 tankers, the two fighters will make a refueling stop at NAS Patuxent River before proceeding for their seven-hour flight across the Atlantic.
They will remain there for three-weeks to conduct tests before returning back to Edwards. Dutch F-35As will arrive home permanently in 2019.
