The Telegraph reports that the British government has decided to buy 50 AH-64Es off-the-shelf from Boeing instead of having them produced at Yeovil by Augusta-Westland.

The deal is reported to be worth £2 billion and is expected to be announced in July at the Royal International Air Tattoo or Farnborough air show.
