The exercise is taking place today in Hawaii, all three participating countries have assigned a Aegis destroyer to take part. The three-ships will try to detect and track the ballistic missile target and no actual interception will take place.
All data collected will be relayed to a land-based command center, therefore, Japanese and South Korean warships will not be sharing data among themselves.
