L-3 says it has completed the first commercial-off-the-shelf avionics upgrade of a Argentine Air Force C-130H and delivered the aircraft back to the customer.

The upgrade is part of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program approved in 2011. The whole program involves five aircraft and the remaining four aircraft will be upgraded at FAdeA’s (Fábrica Argentina de Aviones) modification facility in Córdoba, Argentina, with L-3 support.
