The B-29 Superfortress known affectionately as Doc has flown for the first time since its last flight in 1956.

The warbird took off from McConnell Air Force Base no Jul. 17 and one of those people watching that historic flight was 91 year-old Connie Palacioz who had put rivets on the aircraft when she was just 18.
