Officials from South Korea and United States met for the first time in Washington to discuss the transfer of technologies for KAI to build the KF-X indigenous fighter.
The Korea side of the Defense Technology Strategy & Cooperation Group (DTSCG) was lead by Vice Defense Minister Hwang In-mo and Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Lee Tae-ho.
Washington approved the transfer of 21 technologies as part of the agreement to sell 40 F-35s to Seoul.
