Bloomberg reported that Singapore has decided not to buy the F-35B, it had submitted a letter of request to buy four aircraft with options for eight more in 2014.

The Pentagon was informed of the decision in June this year. The original plan was to have the aircraft in service by 2022.
The United States had also gave the green light for Singapore to install its own datalink and radio on the fighter this February.
