Sam Iacobellis, known as the “Father of the B-1B”, has passed away at the age of 83 last week.

Back in the early 1980s, Iacobellis rolled out 100 of the supersonic bomber in just six years, below budget and on schedule, after Ronald Reagan authorized the production of the aircraft.
