Veterans and descendants of the Royal Air Force’s 77 Squadron are reuniting to mark the 100th anniversary of the unit’s formation.

The unit stood up on Oct. 1, 1916 with B.E.2 and B.E.12 aircraft. It was disbanded in 1919 and reactivated in 1937.
Its last mission was to operate the Thor Intermediate range ballistic missile at RAF Feltwell and was finally disbanded in 1963.
