The U.S. government is giving away 10 F-15Ds under the excess defense articles scheme to Israel and Flight Global reported that eight aircraft have been delivered so far.

India’s Defense Ministry asking graft busters to investigate DRDO AEW&CS project
Following media reports that Embraer might have paid bribes in order to secure the contract to supply three business jets for the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEWACS) project, the Indian Ministry of Defense has asked the Central Bureau of Investigation to initiate an investigation.

Israel’s new Ofek-11 reconnaissance satellite not working as expected
Israel sent its newest reconnaissance satellite, Ofek-11, into space on Sept. 13 using its indigenous Shavit rocket from the Palmachim Air Base on Sept. 13. However, within hours, the satellite transmitted back home that it had developed some sort of malfunction.
