Legion Pod flight-tested aboard F-15C

Lockheed Martin disclosed that its Legion Pod has been flying on board a F-15C at Jacksonville Air National Guard Base in Florida.

Paul Lemmo, vice president of Fire Control/SOF CLSS at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Contro, said the IRST21 infrared sensor installed at the tip of the pod “successfully tracked multiple airborne targets in representative scenarios.”
