Royal Air Force Eurofighters from 1(Fighter) Squadron have arrived in Butterworth, Malaysia. The first leg of their Eastern Venture deployment to the Far East.
The journey from RAF Lossiemouth was over 7600 miles and the RAF said it showed the ability of the Eurofighter to project air power worldwide.
The exercise starts on Oct. 4 and will end on the 21st. Exercise Bersama Lima 16 is the annual Five Powers Defence Arrangement (FPDA) Exercise, which involves the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
