Indonesia brought out its Chiron Man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) at the annual Angkasa Yudha exercise last week.
The exercise this year was held at the Natuna Islands in the South China Sea and President Joko Widodo was there to witness the war games.
The Chiron is manufactured by LIG Nex1 and Indonesia is said to have imported the weapon in 2014 and use it in conjunction with the Oerlikon Skyshield 35mm anti-aircraft gun system.
