A press release from Leonardo revealed that the U.S. Navy has chosen to equip its MQ-8C VTOL UAV with a 2-panel Osprey AESA radar. This will only provide 240-degree field of view.

Its also confirmed that the radar will have air-to-air targeting mode available.
