The U.S. Navy is still trying to figure out if guided-missile destroyer USS Mason came under attack off Yemen on Oct. 15.

One defense official told USNI News that the first of two attacks was likely a anti-ship cruise missile.
But trying to determine what happened is difficult as there were few other sensors around the vicinity at that time to make a proper judgement.
