An Avianca Boeing 787 flying from Madrid to Bogota made a sharp turn over Venezuelan airspace on Oct. 21 after the crew found out that a Venezuelan military aircraft was in close proximity.

The incident was serious enough for Avianca to temporarily suspend flights to Caracas the next day.
The airline said it will resume the flights after officials from both countries had discuss about the incident.
