Algerian Army seized 17 MANPADS. Correction: S-5 rockets

Update: We were informed that it was a S-5 rocket pod along with its rockets that were seized.

The Algerian Army carried out a raid in the southern desert province of Adrar on Nov. 6 and recovered 17 Man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS).

The statement from defense ministry failed to reveal what type of MANPADS was recovered and the origin of the weapons.
