Russia journalists aboard a chartered Il-96 ferrying them to the APEC summit in Peru witnessed a Swiss Air Force F/A-18 escorting their aircraft when they were flying over Switzerland.
The captain of the airliner said such practice is routine and has been done previously as this was a special flight.
