A Russian lawmaker in the upper house of parliament told RIA news agency that the S-400 air defense system will be deployed to the exclave of Kaliningrad as a response to NATO’s “expansion” in eastern Europe.

“As response measures to such threats we will have… to deploy additional forces… This reinforcement includes deployment of S-400 and Iskander systems in Kaliningrad,” Viktor Ozerov, chairman of the defense committee in the Federation Council, said.
