Pakistan hopes Trump administration could restart F-16 sale

An attempt by Pakistan to buy eight F-16s fell through last year when the U.S. Congress prevented Pakistan from using foreign military financing aid to buy the jets. Pakistan’s envoy to Washington, Jalil Abbas Jilani, told reporters that he hope the incoming Trump administration could revisit the issue again.

Duterte said he rejected Abe’s offer of missiles

Philippine President Duterte said Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe offered to provide missiles to his country during the latter’s visit to the country last week.
