Israel will induct the David’s Sling missile intercept system into service early next month, a battalion commander for the system was quoted as saying.

“In the next few weeks we will finish a long process of testing a new weapons system that will join the air force,” said Lt. Col. Kobi Regev.
David’s Sling is designed to fill the gap between the long-range Arrow system and the short-range Iron Dome.
