South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) has confirmed that the first of four C-130s modified for special operations has been delivered to the air force and a second one is waiting to be tested later this year.

DAPA spokesman Kim Si-cheol told reporters that the project was delayed as the research organization had to source for the missile countermeasure technology.
The third and final aircraft will be delivered in first half of 2018.
