Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz told reporters in Warsaw that he will sign the contract to buy eight Patriot air defense missile batteries this year.

He disclosed that the negotiations are still ongoing due to some outstanding issues but they are expected to be resolved by end of the year.
