The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress on the potential sale of four Boeing P-8A maritime patrol aircraft to New Zealand on Apr. 27.

The estimated cost is $1.46 billion.
It was previously reported that Japan was keen to sell its P-1 to New Zealand as the replacement for New Zealand’s P-3Ks.
