RAAF PC-21s inbound for Singapore

Two Pilatus PC-21s on their delivery flight to Australia have departed Bangkok, Thailand this morning and are expected to arrive in Singapore later. These are the third and fourth PC-21s to be delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force.

JS Izumo’s escort mission is just symbolic

Japan assigned its largest warship JS Izumo to escort a U.S. Navy supply ship off the coast of Japan on May 1. But Mainichi Shimbun says the deployment is largely symbolic as the helicopter carrier’s weapons are for self-defense purpose only.

F-16s are leaving Hill Air Force Base for good starting this month

Hill Air Force Base will begin its transition to a pure F-35 base starting from this month when the F-16s from 388th and 419th fighter wings are redeployed elsewhere.

TLP is an annual NATO Mission Commander’s School training program and is designed to provide joint tactical training with NATO allies to increase NATO coordination and strengthen combined air operations. This type of training is an opportunity for Hill’s active duty and Reserve Citizen Airmen to hone their operational and tactical leadership skills with Allied air forces.
