Guided missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain has collided with South Korean fishing boat 502 Namyang in the waters south of Ulleung Island on May 9.

The U.S. Navy said the warship was hit on its left side at mid-ship and both vessels were able to sail away under its own power.
USS Lake Champlain is currently assigned to the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group and is conducting drills off the coast of South Korea.
This is not “Military Aviation News.” I come here to see military aviation stories. I don’t care if the Navy hit a Korean fishing boat. It might be important to them, but it is not what I come to this site to see.
