Elta to test KF-X’s AESA radar

South Korea’s Agency for Defense Development has roped in Elta to support the testing of an indigenous AESA radar for the KAI KF-X fighter.

The state-run Defense Acquisition Program Administration stressed that the contract is just for support and not development work.

Hanwha Thales is leading the effort to develop the radar.
