Russia will activate the serial production of the Mi-28NM attack helicopter next year, Commander of the Aerospace Forces Col. Gen. Viktor Bondarev disclosed on Jul. 23.
“There is not a single lag behind the Mi-28NM, it’s a fine helicopter, we need it very much. The completion of the engineering works is scheduled for 2018, and then, the Aerospace Forces will receive it,” Bondarev told reporters at MAKS 2017.
He added that all front line units will be getting this variant due to its dual controls capability.
