U.S. Army bans Chinese commercial drones, cites cyber vulnerabilities

The U.S. Army has published a memo on Aug. 2 that bans its soldiers from using commercial drones made by Chinese firm DJI.

Citing cyber vulnerabilities, the use of components and software made by DJI is prohibited as well.

DJI says it is willing to approach the service to determine what are the vulnerabilities and address those concerns.
