The Pentagon announced on Aug. 30 that Raytheon has been awarded $119 million to turn the Tomahawk Block IV into a anti-ship missile.

Raytheon will conduct “analysis, trade studies, architecture, modeling, simulation development, evaluation, and prototyping activities for the integration of seeker suite technology and processing capabilities” in support of the Maritime Strike Tomahawk Program.
Work – performed primarily in Tucson, Arizona – will be completed by August 2019.
