Taiwan inaugurates Air Force Air Defense and Missile Command

Taiwan combined the Air Force’s Air Defense Artillery and Air Defense Missile commands on Sept. 1 into a new Air Defense and Missile Command.


Speaking at the inauguration ceremony at Tainan Air Force Base, Republic of China Air Force commander Gen. Shen Yi-ming says this will allow better coordination in air defense operations.

Five new air defense brigades are established under this command.
