Taiwan has to fork out more money to shoulder the development cost and new weapons that the United States recently agreed to export to Taiwan.
If the program was/is managed like the SRP at Hanscom AFB..then it is seen as a cash cow by the product center to be milked for everything it can get away with. No fiduciary responsibility it observed by the AF to ensure that Taiwan’s money is spent appropriately. The guiding principle is to delay, extend and increase the scope the program…and to get as many people charging the program as you can get away with.
