ATAC CEO Jeffrey Parker confirmed to Flight Global that the firm has acquired 63 Dassault Mirage F1s and the jets will be upgraded to compete in an upcoming U.S. Air Force competition for “red air” training.

The jets will have Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) jammers and active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars.
He added that the company is still sourcing for additional aircraft in order to meet the flying branch’s requirements.
