Combat-coded F-16s depart Hill AFB

The last six combat-coded F-16s depart Hill Air Force Base for good on Sept. 21, bringing an end to 38 years of operational F-16s at Hill.

Although the base is transitioning to the F-35A, the F-16 will still visit the base for maintenance at Ogden Air Logistics Complex .
