Pentagon blocks Turkish request to hire F-16 instructors from Pakistan

The coup in Turkey last year has thinned the ranks of its F-16 pilots and Turkey had wanted to recruit instructors from Pakistan to train more pilots. However, the move has been blocked by the Pentagon.

RCAF CF-18s have taken over NATO Air Policing mission in Romania

The Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 detachment at Mihail Kogalniceau Airbase, Romania for NATO’s enhanced Air Policing mission has been declared fully operational.

Japan wants AN/SPY-6 for its Aegis Ashore installations

Reuters reported that Japan has requested to buy the Raytheon AN/SPY-6 active electronically scanned array air and missile defense 3D radar for its proposed Aegis Ashore installations.
