Embraer disclosed on Nov. 30 that the Philippine Air Force has ordered six of the firm’s A-29 ground attack aircraft.

The company’s press statement said the “aircraft will be deployed for close air support, light attack, surveillance, air-to-air interception, and counterinsurgency missions. Deliveries will start in 2019.”
