The Bulgarian government was forced to suspend a plan to overhaul the country’s MiG-29s with RSK MiG after Ukraine’s Ukrinmash filed an appeal with the country’s competition regulator.

Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov told reporters that the move by Ukrinmash was “a sabotage attempt.”
“The Ukrainian company does not have a license, it does not have capability to carry out such overhauls,” he told a news conference.
