Surplus USMC AH-1Ws up for sale

The U.S. government intends to sell away surplus AH-1W attack helicopters used by the Marine Corps via the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) route, Jane’s reports.

Qatar-U.K. operational squadron to secure skies during World Cup 2022

Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah disclosed during his speech at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in London that a joint Qatar-U.K. operational squadron will help protect the airspace during World Cup 2022 in Doha.
