Netherlands will be sending its Patriot air defense missile system to Letterkenny Army Depot, Pennsylvania for modernization, president of the Franklin County Area Development Corp has said.

The first component will arrive at Letterkenny this month, a liaison officer with the Royal Netherlands Air Force said.
The Dutch decided back in 2015 to extend the lifespan of its Patriot system to 2040.
