HQ-9 site in Zhejiang province, China

H/T to DY Lu for pointing out the location of another HQ-9 air defense missile site in China.


This newly identified site is located at Wangongtang river, Zhenhai district, Ningbo city.

Construction of the site started in 2011 and has been operational since 2013. The transporter erector launchers (TEL) are usually parked on the left side of the site. Sometime in the middle of 2015, movable sheds were added to those two pads on the left side.
