Memorial for Capt. Jeff Kuss is nearing completion

A memorial dedicated to the late Blue Angels pilot Capt. Jeff Kuss is nearing completion in the town of Smyrna, Tennessee.

Kuss was killed on Jun. 2, 2016 while preparing for the Great Tennessee Air Show in Smyrna.

A F/A-18C painted in Blue Angels colors will be installed in the memorial. A dedication ceremony will be held on Jun. 9 and his former teammates are expected to attend as well.
