The U.S. Air Force has deployed four F-22s at Kadena air base, Okinawa, Japan on May 30. A total of 14 F-22s will eventually be deployed there.

JMSDF P-3C caught North Korean-flagged tanker in illegal ship-to-ship transfers of goods
The Japanese Foreign Ministry released photographs of a North Korean-flagged tanker and a small vessel of unknown nationality flying a flag that seemed like Chinese-flag, connected together by hoses on May 19. The pictures were taken by a Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force P-3C.
