A de Havilland Venom crashed shortly after takeoff from Sheboygan County Memorial Airport in Wisconsin on Jul. 20.
The pilot, Martin J. Tibbitts, did not survive the crash. The plane had struck a barn and two farm workers were injured.
The warbird was on its way to attend the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh.
