General Atomics completes arresting hook testing for its MQ-25 design

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) announced on Jul. 23 that it has concluded performance testing of the arresting hook Hold Down Damper (HDD) for its proposed MQ-25 unmanned aerial refueling aircraft for the U.S. Navy.

Boeing says Super Hornet can make ski jump takeoff with ‘significant’ payload

Dan Gillian, Boeing’s program manager for the F/A-18 and EA-18G, told Economic Times that his company had done simulations of the Super Hornet taking off from a ski jump and the aircraft can be launched with a ‘significant’ payload.
