The Spanish government has directed military satellite operator Hisdesat to discuss the purchase of two military communication satellites with Airbus and Thales.

Chief Executive Officer of Hisdesat Miguel Angel Panduro told Bloomberg that the satellites “will have resilience to nuclear events and interference, and will comply with NATO and EU requirements.”
