Taiwan is seeking quotations to supply a land-based Phalanx weapons system to help protect its underground air bases at Hualien and Taitung.

Cost to dismantle ex-USS Enterprise to exceed $1 billion

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has found that the cost of dismantling the former nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Enterprise may exceed $1 billion.
