Folks over at Kommersant are reporting that Algeria is keen to buy a squadron of 14 MiG-29M/M2 fighters to replace its FULCRUM fleet.
This will be Algeria’s second attempt at securing new MiGs after a deal to buy MiG-29SMTs in 2006 soured with Algeria accusing Russia of using inferior components on the first three aircraft that were delivered.
