The U.S. Army sent a team to Israel last month to gauge the effectiveness of the Spike NLOS anti-tank missile in the Negev Desert.

An executive from Rafael land systems says the firm is now in talks with Lockheed Martin which could lead to a contract to sell the missile to the U.S. Army.
The service is interested in the weapon as it has four times the maximum range of the Hellfire missile.
