The new missile – to be delivered from 2026 – will have a matrix sensor in the infrared seeker variant and the radio frequency seeker will use an AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Antenna).
It will be able to carry more propellant as electronic components will shrunk to create more space. The missile will have a new double-pulse rocket motor for more manoeuvrability at the end game and improve its range.
